MINNEAPOLIS The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Minnesota Chapter will hold its annual Christopher & Banks MS Walk presented by Anchor Bank in Minneapolis and St. Paul Sunday, May 6.

The Christopher & Banks MS Walk presented by Anchor Bank is a 1.5-mile walk from Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis; an eight-mile walk from Boom Island in Minneapolis; or a nine-mile walk from the State Capitol in St. Paul to Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis to help fight multiple sclerosis.

Including the Twin Cities walks, there are 19 walks held across Minnesota and western Wisconsin on May 6. This year the National MS Society, Minnesota Chapter anticipates that 10,000 participants will raise $2 million. Last year the walk raised more than $1.7 million statewide to help fight multiple sclerosis.

Although there is no pledge minimum for the Christopher & Banks MS Walk, participants are required to raise pledges. Funds raised for the walk help support MS research and programs and services to help people living with MS in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
