MINNEAPOLIS Today approximately 10,000 people statewide participated in the 20th annual Christopher & Banks MS Walk presented by Anchor Bank. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Minnesota Chapter anticipates that participants raised more than $2 million to help fight multiple sclerosis.

Walks were held in 18 cities throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin, including Minneapolis and St. Paul. Participants chose between a 1.5-mile walk from Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis; an eight-mile walk from Boom Island in Minneapolis; or a nine-mile walk from the State Capitol in St. Paul to Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis. Nearly 6,000 people walked in the Twin Cities.

The National MS Society, Minnesota Chapter would like to thank the following sponsors for their commitment to moving closer toward a world free of MS: Title sponsor Christopher & Banks; presenting sponsor Anchor Bank; Great River Energy; EMD Serono; Pfizer; Pure Protein; Premium Waters, Inc.; Chippewa Spring Water; Kandiyohi Purified Water; Rollx Vans; Cities97; J&J Distributing; Biogen Idec; Teva Neuroscience; Pearson’s; and Pentair.
