Two-day motorcycle tour to fight MS set for Aug. 18 and 19 July 7, 2007 Contact: Emily Wilson
MS River Road Run starts Saturday, Aug. 18, at the State Capitol in St. Paul. Event participants will travel along the scenic Mississippi River and into Wisconsin before stopping at the overnight site in La Crosse, Wis. The next day the riders finish at MS Camp at Camp Courage in Maple Lake, Minn. MS Camp is a The MS River Road Run is fully supported and features meals, suggested fuel stops and mechanical support. In 2006, more than 160 participants raised more than $130,000 to fund programs and services for the estimated 9,000 living with MS in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. A registration fee and $200 minimum pledge are required to participate in the MS River Road Run.
