MINNEAPOLIS—The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Minnesota Chapter will hold its sixth annual MS Challenge Walk, a three-day, 50-mile walk to help end multiple sclerosis, Sept. 7 to 9 in the Twin Cities. The deadline to register is Sunday, Sept. 1. The Minnesota Chapter expects more than 375 people will participate and raise $750,000.

The MS Challenge Walk starts Friday, Sept. 7, at the Minneapolis Veterans Home and finishes Sunday, Sept. 9, at the State Capitol in St. Paul.

The event is fully supported and noncompetitive. Rest stops with snacks, beverages and first aid are located every three miles. Walkers are provided with meals, evening entertainment, support vans, intersection safety and event T-shirts. At the overnight sites, walkers enjoy indoor or outdoor camping.
