MINNEAPOLIS—Yesterday, Sept. 9, the three-day, 50-mile MS Challenge Walk finished at the State Capitol in St. Paul. Nearly 300 people participated in the sixth annual event and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Minnesota Chapter anticipates participants raised approximately $700,000 to help support programs and services for people living with MS in Minnesota and western Wisconsin and fund research for a cure.

The event began Friday, Sept. 7, at the Minneapolis Veterans Home. Participants walked around the Minneapolis lakes and through the historic neighborhoods of St. Paul before finishing yesterday, Sept. 9, at the State Capitol.

The National MS Society, Minnesota Chapter would like to thank the following sponsors for their commitment to moving closer toward a world free of MS: KARE 11, KOOL 108, Premium Waters and J&J Distributing.
