MINNEAPOLIS—The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Minnesota Chapter recently awarded a $40,000 grant to the Multiple Sclerosis Treatment and Research Center of the Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology in Minneapolis. The grant will support un-reimbursed services provided to patients and nurse education.

The Multiple Sclerosis Treatment and Research Center is one of four clinics in Minnesota to receive a patient support grant from the National MS Society, Minnesota Chapter this year. To be eligible for a grant, clinics must be affiliated with the National MS Society, Minnesota Chapter.

The grants are awarded in conjunction with the Minnesota Chapter’s Community Grant Program. The program awards grants to help affiliated clinics address the expenses of patient education, un-reimbursed services, indigent care and professional education related to the treatment of multiple sclerosis.
