MS Society to host program in Shakopee for people newly diagnosed with MS

MINNEAPOLIS - The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Minnesota Chapter hosts an informational program for people newly diagnosed with multiple sclerosis from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at the Canterbury Inn in Shakopee, Minn., 1244 Canterbury Road.

The program, Moving Forward, provides information about MS and resources available to people living with the disease. The program also offers tips for talking about the disease with family and friends, managing MS on the job, coping with the anxiety that comes with a diagnosis and an opportunity to connect with other people whose lives are affected by MS.
