MINNEAPOLIS — The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Minnesota Chapter holds its annual MS River Road Run — a two-day motorcycle tour to help create a world free of multiple sclerosis — Aug. 16 and 17.

Participants in the MS River Road Run Motorcycle Tour take off Saturday, Aug. 16, from the Capitol in St. Paul and travel along the Mississippi River and into Wisconsin before stopping at the overnight site in Baraboo, Wis. Motorcyclists head to the finish in Farmington, Minn., Sunday, Aug. 17.

Funds raised through the tour help to support programs and services for the estimated 9,000 people living with multiple sclerosis in Minnesota and western Wisconsin and fund research to develop better treatments and find a cure.

A registration fee and $200 minimum pledge are required to participate in the MS River Road Run. For more information or to register, visit http://www.msriverroadrun.com/ or call Allison Wagner at 612-335-7921.
