Walk MS raises more than $2 million to end MS May 13, 2008 Contact: Emily Wilson MINNEAPOLIS — More than 9,000 people participated in Walk MS: Christopher & Banks Walk 2008 presented by Anchor Bank Sunday, May 4, raising more than $2 million to help create a world free of multiple sclerosis. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Minnesota Chapter held Walk MS events in 17 communities throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Funds raised through Walk MS help support programs and services for the estimated 9,000 people living with multiple sclerosis in Minnesota and western Wisconsin and fund research for a cure.
